I'm CAPTIVATED!

I never would have thought that something like Libera would be a big part of my life. My music genre is definitely pop, I listen to Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus sorta, and I never thought that classical music will invade my interest (laugh). So why do I love Libera now?

I can still remember: It's April 1, almost ten in the evening and I am watching TV alone downstair. If I remember right, the movie I was in was Spiderman 3, @ channel 24, AXN. Hahaha the fact that I have seen this movie a lot of times already pushed me into switching into the other channels, and so I landed to Philippine's only music channel: MYX! I <3 MYX! Hahahaha! And then BOOM! There it is, I saw Libera, being featured in Myx present.

At first I saw them on the commercial, the running of lists for MYX presents for the Month of April. I saw Tom Cully in the music video of "You were there" (Of course that time I don't know the title yet)...So apparently, you were there is the first song of Libera that I heard. I instantly fell in love with their music, although as I have mentioned above I love pop music, but their songs just captivated me, caught something inside me, altered my emotions and left me listening to their songs more than anything.

That one fateful night, April 1. I met them. The first member that caught my attention was Tom Cully, of course, and then Micheal Horncastle. The first songs of Libera that I have downloaded into my phone was You were there and far away. Those two songs really made me sad, in a good way. I dunno, I just felt this odd emotions and made me wanna cry. One thing's for sure: I'M CAPTIVATED BY LIBERA AND I AM TOTALLY IN FOR LIBERA SYNDROME!!!!

First sight INTRODUCTION.

Okay... Libera...

Libera is a boy's choir  from London, and they're usually composed of no more than 40 boys between the age of 7 to 16. Libera is the latin word meaning "free" and I think, that would express the real essence of their music. This vocal group is directed by the infamous song writer, Robert Prizeman, and I think he is the best person in the world. Libera usually sings classical music, not the typical genre, but they have this wonderful melody that blends together as they go so high and made their music really awesome. Some say it was boring, and sleepy, but let me give my own perception on their songs, they are peaceful, soothing and relaxing. They usually go on tour, at their young age, going around UK, Asia and the US, performing on live concerts are promoting their albums. And yes, their albums were great! They have released a bunch of albums already, under EMI, and for me all of them were awesome.
