On Lexi's (Mini-Angels) blog-post yesterday, she said that we Filipinos shouldn't be excited with regards to the hush-hush about Libera's concert on October 22. The mayhem started when PICC blocked the said date for 'Libera Concert.' This can be seen on their official site: http://www.picc.gov.ph/
Well, she's right. Nothing can be OFFICIAL unless it would be OFFICIALLY announced by Libera themselves (or maybe in this instance, Libera360).
So to clear out and made some clarifications about this, I called PICC's direct Line and talked to their Event Manager. She told me that the Promotional Staff of Libera blocked the said date and that it will be held on PICC's Plenary Hall.
*Ticket prices are not yet available. We will post it as soon as we get information. REAL information. ;)

Libera's Concert Schedule!
Thank you John Mordred Dale for giving us the heads-up!
Libera's concert is already scheduled!
Libera Three-sixty is expected to announce Libera's concert on August 15th but, thanks to John, we can now see on the official website of Philippine International Convention Center's (PICC) that the concert already has a schedule!
According to their upcoming-events-tab, Libera is scheduled to have their show on OCTOBER 22, 2011; 8:00pm.
So this is it, guys! Mark your calendars! Star saving! We will keep you updated with regards to the ticket prices and Meet & Greet Schedules.

Libera coming to the Philippines - More Proof
Okay, this is really getting sick! I am already hanging on the edge of my seat! Thanks to Yuni for sharing this link that led me to Libera Dreams forum where a lot of people have been talking about the supposed rumors on Libera's Philippine Tour. The topic of the discussion is "What i just heard - Philippine Tour 2011 or Christmas CD"
Let us look into some of their posts.
And thankfully, someone posted this list of proofs about libera coming back to the Philippines.
Here is what she said:
i mean they sort of confirmed it through hints.
1. the video they posted on the 360 site has a snowflake traveling to different countries and ended up landing on a hut in the middle of a rice field which looks like the philippines to me, and its entitled "it will be a white christmas". heres the link to the video:

2. they posted on their facebook account "preparing the site for something big" which to me means they are again organizing for the boys return

4. i asked my friend from EMI "if ever libera comes back, can you reserve me the best seats?" his answer was "ask the libera360 people because they have the inside track on libera-philippine matters including getting the best house seats."
sum all these up and you get a Libera Concert in the Philippines most probably this october because october is Philippines-UK friendship month.
now, i got to really watch my budget to afford the best seats!!! i cant wait!!! actually already sent an email to 360 admins to inquire about seats!

Libera coming to the Philippines?
Yesterday, someone chatted me on Facebook (I will not mention who SHE was) and told me that Libera will be coming to the Philippines on October 21st.
"eric - i calendar mo na... october 21-23." was the exact words she said. At first, of course I did not believe her because it was not yet confirmed by Libera.
Then later that evening, another friend of mine chatted me and said, "yes! its confirmed!" I asked him how did he knew and told me that he saw it on Libera Threesixty's status.
Here is what I saw...
I was shocked because it only confirms what my 'friend' told me that morning that Libera will soon be confirming the news in a couple of weeks.

So what could be the biggest event that could happen this year? The Christmas album that Libera has been recording? No, we already know that for weeks already. So this is it! 360 has been tipping us off, THEY'RE COMING!
Prior to the first message that I got, it is just up to you if you will believe or hold on to that date that she gave, but waiting for the official announcement won't hurt you, right? Especially that it will become official in just a couple of weeks. So are you ready? Start saving up because no matter what this will be, I'm sure this is really something big that we fans are waiting for!

Possible Christmas Album for Libera's Filipino fans?
Last June 18th, the official Facebook page of PolyEast Records told us this:
"Hi Liberians... We will be having good news for you very soon..stay tuned always here at PolyEast Records fanpage."
From that single post, we came up with different guesses. Will they finally release Libera's Peace Deluxe Edition, which is not available in our country? Will Libera be coming back to have a concert?
Last July 5th, http://madinelover.blogspot.com/ posted a blog entry about a possible Christmas album exclusively for Libera's Filipino fans. The blogger told us that:
"..,just heard a news from a thread in Libera Dreams Forum. So, elemental7 (a member from Philippines) heard from a PolyEast Record employee that they will release a Libera Christmas album this September in Philippines. Anyway, click here to read the thread. Well, I don't know it is just a rumor or not. But we all know according to Jimmy Riddle that Libera just having a photoshoot last Saturday in London. I don't know this is related or not. But, this is an exciting news. I'm hoping we'll get something new from Libera. I just can't wait."

I think that post of hers has something to do about PolyEast's surprise to us, Filipino fans.
So, in all of the downs that has been happening to us, like for isntance, PDE not being released in our country and the long wait for Libera's come back, here is another thing that we could look forward too. Although nothing of these are confirmed 100% by Libera themselves, at least we can expect these things to happen in the near future. What a best way to celebrate Christmas with Libera's music.
BREAKING NEWS: Last time, it has been a trend in LPH's facebook page that Libera will be coming back on October. But an identified Libera chorister send me this message just the other day:
"No it won't be confirmed for a couple of months"
So do not get your hopes up high, just yet. Maybe the choir has something big for us, that they just don't want to tell us yet. If we get something new about this, we will surely inform you ASAP.. For the meantime, that's all.

Activities for the month of July
On July 24th, Liberians Philippines (Libera) fan page on Facebook will be celebrating its 1st year anniversary. In line with this, we will be having the following activities:
July 23, Saturday - a Socialization Game for everybody. (Details soon)
-The winner will be asked to give his/her own definition of Libera. His/her answer will be featured at the
documentary film we are doing.
